Open claude.ai in your browser

On your Surface Pro, open Microsoft Edge. Type claude.ai in the address bar and press Enter. This is where Claude lives.

Create a free account

Click Sign Up. Use your email address. Choose a password. Verify your email when it arrives. This takes 3 minutes.

Upgrade to Claude Pro

Click Upgrade to Pro. It costs $20 per month (around $20). This unlocks everything — unlimited conversations, all integrations, priority access. This is not optional. The free plan is too limited to be useful.

Connect your tools (the really useful bit)

Go to Settings, then Connectors, then browse the directory. Each connection takes about 60 seconds. Connect Google Calendar first, then Google Drive, then Notion if you use it. See the full list below.

Bookmark it on your taskbar

In Edge, click the star to bookmark it. Then drag the bookmark to your taskbar so Claude is one click away every morning. You want it to be as easy to open as your email.
